We were in Hallstatt, one of the most beautiful places in Austria. We wanted to share the moment, find our way, message the people we love. But internet abroad was a luxury: 25 euro for 1GB. Staying online meant either painful bills or hours hunting for WiFi. Right there, surrounded by all that beauty, we felt how absurd it was.
The idea that followed us home
We came back, but the idea would not let go. With a background in software and telecommunications, we started digging. Back then, eSIM was still an unknown word here.
